Ingredients

Recipe

  • 2 1/2 cup(s) raw organic almonds
  • 3 cup(s) filtered water
  • 3 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 Requires cheese cloth

Raw Almond Milk Directions

  1. Soak 2.5 cups of raw organic almonds for 24-48 hours
  2. Rinse twice daily with filtered water
  3. Rinse and drain one final time
  4. Put almonds in Vitamix or high powered blender
  5. Add 3 cups of filtered water 
  6. Blend at high speed until thoroughly blended
  7. Pour through cheese cloth to remove pulp (carefully squeeze out all liquid)
  8. Rinse out blender, put almond milk back in 
  9. Add 2-3 dates 
  10. Blend at high speed until thoroughly blended 
  11. Pour into glass jar and refigerate 
  12. Yield: approximately 2 cups
  13. Fresh for 3-5 days
