Recipe
- 2 1/2 cup(s) raw organic almonds
- 3 cup(s) filtered water
- 3 medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 Requires cheese cloth
Raw Almond Milk Directions
- Soak 2.5 cups of raw organic almonds for 24-48 hours
- Rinse twice daily with filtered water
- Rinse and drain one final time
- Put almonds in Vitamix or high powered blender
- Add 3 cups of filtered water
- Blend at high speed until thoroughly blended
- Pour through cheese cloth to remove pulp (carefully squeeze out all liquid)
- Rinse out blender, put almond milk back in
- Add 2-3 dates
- Blend at high speed until thoroughly blended
- Pour into glass jar and refigerate
- Yield: approximately 2 cups
- Fresh for 3-5 days
