Hot Ginger Milk

This warming drink can be made with a variety of milk alternatives, depending on your needs. It's satisfying to the tummy, morning or night. Adapted from "The Ancient Cookfile" by Carrie L'Esperance.


Hot Ginger Milk

Ingredients

Recipe

  • 1 cup(s) coconut milk or milk alternative
  • 1 cup(s) filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon(s) freshly grated ginger root
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cardamom (powdered)
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) ghee

Hot Ginger Milk Directions

  1. Gently heat all ingredients, except for the ghee. Do not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the ghee.
