Basil-Mint Pesto
This is one of my staple condiements. I use it as a sauce, a dip, dressing, and marinade. It is full of healhty fats, vitamins and minerals. I encourage you to use organic ingredients and be sure to get first cold-pressed olive oil in a dark glass container.

Recipe
- 3 cup(s) fresh basil
- 2 cup(s) fresh mint
- 2/3 cup(s) chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup(s) fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup(s) first cold pressed olive oil
- 2 whole cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup(s) hard white cheese (I use unpasteurized hard goat cheese)
Basil-Mint Pesto Directions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor gradually until all ingredients are well-blended. Taste the pesto and add ingredients as necessary to reach desired taste and consistency. Walnuts will make it thicker, olive oil will makeit thinner, cheese will make it richer...Enjoy on everything!
